Bryce Turns One

On May 9th, 2008 Bryce turned one year old. We had a joint party for him and his cousin Mason who turned two on May 14th.

    I’d forgotten that Bryce was born on May 9th. So was I. I’ve never known anybody else born May 9th. So my first reaction was a warm, fuzzy feeling of connectedness.
    But then I remembered: this year, I didn’t get anything. No cake, no cards, no presents. Now I know why. Bryce stole my birthday!
