It doesn’t rain very often where I live. We usually get the dark clouds and heavy winds and then later hear how the streets were flooded in south Phoenix or Cave Creek.

Awesome rainfall! Here in Seattle people always say it rains a lot, and it does, but it’s rarely a *good* rain like that one … it’s just a perpetual drizzle.
Your video makes me wish it was nighttime with a thunderstorm outside!

That one hit you right after it hit us, and it looks like it calmed down a bit by the time it got to you. The water coming off our roof was coming down in sheets. I ran outside with my camera to shoot footage of it. Then I realized the drain holes at the end of our street were plugged, and Gary was out in the downpour trying to unplug them, and we were about one minute away from water coming in the front door. So I went and helped him instead. Glad you shot this!!

This looks like my town last night. We definitely needed it.
@Marina – yeah we get flash floods a lot because it just pours on us for like 15 mins and then stops.
@Cheryl – this was a couple of weeks ago, but yeah it was a huge down pour for us. Real rare which is why I pulled out the cam.
