All This For $145

I went grocery shopping without the wife tonight and was told to only spend $100. I ended up spending $145. When I looked at the reciept I added up all of the stuff that the wife wouldn’t have bought and it came up to around $60; so I feel that I did pretty good.
What do you think?

Dude, that’s a lot of food for that much money. You did really good imho. Does all of the pizza making stuff add up to $10 though? Because you can get a huge pizza that is already made for $10 from most grocery stores. Otherwise, looks yummy.
It all depends on where you live I think. Here in Iowa, cost of living is cheap. You probably could have bought double what you got for $145. Where you live, you could have done well. Where I used to live, in Vancouver, I couldnt have bought 1/2 of that for what you paid.
Regardless, it looks like you got a lot of good food

I actually think you did pretty darn good!!!!! However, I’m assuming Tiff probably would have picked up some meat?! I didn’t see any chicken or anything besides lunch meat??
Well I honestly have NO idea because I don’t shop, and I don’t cook. It looks like a decent amount but Amy (girlfriend) says she definitely procures more goods for said amount of money. But she’s like your wife – hardcore coupon clipper.
You know, I’ve tried the coupon thing… but by the time I actually GET to the store or restaurant the coupon is from, it’s already expired like a year ago lol.
But fuck it man, at least you got the essentials… beer and taquitos… fuck yea!
