New Theme and Back to Blogging
Well obviously for those of you who are familiar with the site can see it has a completely new look and feel. Went with a two column theme versus my traditional three columns. I wanted something a lot simpler and got rid of all (most) of the crap I had on the sides which caused me to need that extra column. I’ve also put together an “About Clintus” page which is something I’ve never really had. I always said someday I would do an “about me” video but never got around to it and believe it or not I actually had people ask me why I didn’t have one. It’s actually kind of hard writing something up like that about yourself. Maybe one of you could write something better?
The other thing I wanted to mention was that this marks the first written blog post on the site in over a year. I miss it. I miss sitting down and typing something out. I LOVE video, don’t get me wrong, but video takes a lot more effort then typing does. I used to always think that video was quicker and required less effort but it doesn’t. You have to take the time pull the video off the camera, perhaps edit it, upload it, wait for it to encode, grab the code and then post it to your blog. And what happens if you run out of time or have to stop in the middle somewhere? With text I can start and stop as many times as needed and can pick up right where I left off. I can do it from my iPhone or from an email at work. And what if I just want to say something really quick? I can post it in seconds where as video still takes all those extra steps to get it up no matter how short it is.
The bottom line is I just miss it. I have read such great blog posts lately and it just makes me think; I’m producing less content and putting out less of my thoughts because of the time it takes to put out the video. I’m not saying I won’t be posting videos, because you know there is no way in hell I am ever stopping that, I’m just saying that moving forward you will start seeing both. Just depends on what I have to say and how much time I have to say it. Word.

Either way, I’m sure I can speak for most when we say we’re missing your content: video or otherwise.

Even tho I got a preview of the theme before anybody else lol… I like it and I do see you hybrid posting more… makes sense these days. Anyways, keep posting!

New look to the site is awesome sucka. Now that you are writing some posts in between videos I wont have to hear about how far behind you are on your blogs. Too bad you dont have any Whirleyball video to post, that would be freakin awesome(<—-that was a low blow)
