Interesting discussion.

I trust very few. Deep trust that is. The kind of "I trust you with my life" trust. Maybe only one or two people. With regards to other levels of trust, I've kind of lost faith in too many to put my trust in them. Which, is sad really.

I don't give out my trust easily. It takes a lot and a long time for me to trust someone. If that is broken, it's almost impossible to get back. Almost because I have given my trust back to some.

I guess in the long run, I'm the one that loses with my limited trust levels. Then again, I'm never really worrying too much with someone out there breaking my trust I've allowed them to have.

Your timing is nuts. I JUST got home from drinks with one of my oldest, dearest friends. Someone I've known literally over 20 years. Someone I trust so implicitly it never occurred to me to wonder just how much I trust them

I trust him so much it never crossed my mind.

Were you reading my mind? Creepy. I was just thinking about this a few hours ago. Wow.

I don't know who I trust besides the hubby. I guess it really depends on the information. Some things I have apparently trusted to some people and they instantly lost my faith in them because they couldn't even be trusted with a small snippet.. much less something more important. I guess it takes testing the waters first and gauging how much you can trust anyone..
